Outlook Email Preview Pane

Microsoft Outlook presents the user with plenty of customization options. Using Outlook settings, a user can configure Outlook according to his requirements. The most attractive of these is the email display Outlook feature. This Outlook setting will determine how Outlook displays your emails.
One of these great display functionalities that Microsoft Outlook has ,is something called the : Preview (Reading) Pane. This function basically allows the user to “preview” his email message without actually opening it. This is great for when you don’t have much time and simply need to quickly go through your emails.
Setting up the Email Preview :
- Open Microsoft Outlook and select “mail” from the left navigation pane.
- Then select “view” from the top of your screen.
- Select “Reading Pane” from the menu.
- Click on the drop-down icon of the reading pane and select : Right or bottom for placement of the preview pane.
- That’s it!
I personally prefer the email preview on the right of my Outlook display , but you can place it wherever you feel is easiest for your purposes. This function definitely helps me save a lot of time when going through my emails and I believe that it will come in handy for you as well.
